Mediation

In mediation, parties agree to meet under the chairmanship of a trained mediator, who works with the parties to bring them to a settlement acceptable to all sides.

Every advocate knows that litigants frequently settle on the steps of the court. Mediation works because it gives disputants the opportunity to focus on the realities of the dispute at the start, rather than at the end of expensive litigation.

Thomas Dillon is an ADR Group and Society of Mediators accredited Mediator. With long practice at the Bar and experience managing high-profile, cross-border cases, he can help parties short-circuit the stressful process of litigation. He practises in accordance with the European Code of Conduct for Mediators.
